Creating a Bucket Policy with a Template

OBS Console provides bucket policy templates for six typical scenarios. You can use the templates to quickly configure bucket policies.

Procedure

  1. In the navigation pane on the left of OBS Console, choose Object Storage.
  2. In the bucket list, click a bucket name, and then the Overview page of the bucket is displayed.
  3. In the navigation pane on the left, choose Permissions > Bucket Policy.
  4. Click Create.
  5. In the template list, select a template and click Use Policy Template on the right.

  6. Input required information.

    For some bucket policy templates, you need to configure the principal and resources as prompted. On a policy template, you can change the pre-defined settings, including the policy name, principal, resources, actions and conditions. For details, see Policy Format.

  7. Click Next to confirm the policy configuration.

  8. Click Create in the lower right corner of the page to create the bucket policy.
