Live Stream Management

You can view the online stream status. If you want to stop a live stream, add the ingest URL to the forbidden list. You can also resume stream push whenever you want.

Viewing Stream Push Information

After a live stream is pushed successfully, it takes about 2 to 4 minutes to view its information.

  1. Log in to the Live console.
  2. In the navigation pane, choose Streaming Management > Streams.
  3. Select a domain name to view information about a live stream being pushed.

Disabling a Push Stream

Only a live stream that is being pushed can be disabled. After a live stream is disabled, the ingest URL cannot be used to push live streams.

To disable a live stream, perform the following operations:

  1. Log in to the Live console.
  2. In the navigation pane, choose Streaming Management > Streams.
  3. Locate the domain name for which stream push is to be disabled.
  4. Click Disable in the Operation column.

  5. In the displayed Disable Stream dialog box, set a time for Resumed.

    Then you can view the disabled stream on the Disabled Streams tab page.

    A live stream cannot be pushed until the time indicated by Resumed arrives. You can set a maximum of 90 days away from the current time.

Resuming a Push Stream

To resume stream push for a domain name, perform the following operations:

  1. Log in to the Live console.
  2. In the navigation pane, choose Streaming Management > Streams.
  3. Select the domain name for which stream push needs to be resumed from the drop-down list.
  4. Click the Disabled Streams tab.
  5. Click Resume in the Operation column.
