Deleting an IAM User
If an IAM user is deleted, all data of the user will be deleted and cannot be recovered. Exercise caution when performing this operation. If you only want to remove an IAM user from a user group, see Adding Users to or Removing Users from a User Group.
Procedure
- Log in to the IAM console. In the navigation pane, choose Users.
- Click Delete in the row containing the IAM user you want to delete, and click Yes. Figure 1 Deleting an IAM user
