Making Preparations
Before using GES, register a HUAWEI CLOUD account and perform real-name authentication.
If you need to assign different permissions to employees in your enterprise to access your GES resources, IAM is a good choice for fine-grained permissions management. For details, see GES Resources.
Registering a HUAWEI CLOUD Account
Skip this step if you already have registered one.
- Log in to the HUAWEI CLOUD official website.
- Click Register in the upper right corner to enter the registration page.
- Complete the registration as instructed. For detailed operations, see Account Registration Process.
Performing Real-Name Authentication
According to the laws and regulations of China, cloud service users must finish the real-name authentication before they use any cloud service.
Skip this step if you already have registered one. For details, see Real-Name Authentication Entry.
