Managing Quotas

Scenarios

To prevent resource abuse, the platform limits the quota of service resources. You can apply for increasing quotas if necessary.

This section describes how to view the usage of database resources in a specified region and how to increase quota.

Viewing Quotas

  1. Log in to the management console.
  2. Click in the upper left corner and select a region and a project.
  3. Click Service List. Under Database, click GaussDB.
  4. In the upper right corner of the console page, choose Resources > My Quotas.
  5. View the resource usage and total quota of GaussDB(for MySQL) resources.
  6. If a quota cannot meet service requirements, click Increase Quota to adjust it.

Increasing Quotas

  1. Log in to the management console.
  2. Click in the upper left corner and select a region and a project.
  3. Click Service List. Under Database, click GaussDB.
  4. In the upper right corner of the console page, choose Resources > My Quotas.
  5. Click Increase Quota.
  6. Configure parameters as required.

    In the Problem Description area, fill in the content and reason for quota adjustment.

  7. After all necessary parameters are configured, select the agreement and click Submit.
