Background

• By default, only Huawei Cloud accounts can buy DLV packages. By default, your Huawei Cloud account can perform all operations on DLV.
• Only the users with the DLV FullAccess or Tenant Administrator permission can buy DLV packages. Therefore, to buy DLV packages, users must be granted the permissions.
  

  The Tenant Administrator permission has all cloud service administrator permissions except the IAM management permission. For security purposes, you are not advised to grant this permission to IAM users. Exercise caution when performing this operation.

Buying Resource Packages

1. Log in to the management console.
2. On the top navigation bar, choose Enterprise Intelligence > Data Lake Visualization.
3. On the displayed page, select a region and edition based on service requirements, set related parameters, and click Buy Now.

   Parameter	Description
   Region	Region where the DLV instance resides. Resources in different regions cannot communicate with each other.
   Edition	Edition to be charged. Currently, three editions (basic, advanced, and professional) are supported.
   Specifications	Description of the edition functions.
   Required Duration	Subscription duration of the package. The basic edition can only be bought by year. The advanced edition and professional edition can be bought by month or year.
   Auto-renewal	Indicates whether to automatically renew the subscription. If Auto-renew is selected, monthly subscriptions are automatically renewed every month and yearly subscriptions are automatically renewed every year. NOTICE: Use caution before enabling this function because this function involves automatic fee deduction.

4. Read the DLV service statement carefully. If you agree to the statement, click OK. The order confirmation page is displayed.
5. After confirming the order, click Submit. On the payment page that is displayed, select a payment method and complete the payment as prompted.

   After you pay for the DLV package, the system automatically switches to the DLV console.

Trying the Basic Edition of DLV

DLV provides you with a 30-day free trial of the basic edition of DLV, allowing you to experience the powerful data visualization capabilities of DLV for free.

1. Log in to the management console.
2. On the top navigation bar, choose Enterprise Intelligence > Data Lake Visualization.
3. Click Try Now. The DLV page is displayed.
4. In the displayed Agreement dialog box, select I have read and agreed to the terms, and click Next.
5. If a dialog box is displayed indicating that you have enabled the basic edition of DLV, the 30-day free trial takes effect. You can view the expiration time and learn about DLV specifications and fees.
6. Click Access Console to access the DLV console.

Precautions for free trial are as follows:

• The basic edition of DLV is available during the 30-day free trial period. After the free trial period expires, you need to buy any edition of DLV before continuing your operations.
• If you buy any edition of DLV during the free trial period, the remaining trial days will expire.
• Screens shared and released during the free trial period will become unavailable when the free trial period expires. The loss caused by not buying DLV in time shall be borne by yourselves.
• Screens created during the free trial period will be retained for seven days after the free trial period expires (excluding those deleted by yourselves). The loss caused by not buying DLV in time shall be borne by yourselves.
• Each account can experience the free trial only once.
