Enabling a DeC

Scenarios

You must enable a DeC before you apply for DCC resources.

Procedure

Log in to the management console. Click Service List. Under Dedicated Cloud, click Dedicated Computing Cluster. On the DeC page, you can view the process for requesting a DeC and using resources.

  1. To learn DeC advantages and benefits, contact the customer service at 4000-955-988 or 950808.
  2. Negotiate with your account manager. The account manager will help you shape a business model based on your service scenarios and requirements and offer the most suitable DeC for you.
  3. Submit a service ticket to have your DeC provisioned.
    1. In the Select Subtype area, choose Product Consulting > Create Service Ticket.
    2. Select the region where you want to enable a DeC.
    3. Enter the account name and the DeC to be enabled in the problem description. The DeC name can contain a maximum of 16 characters which consist of only letters (case-insensitive), digits, hyphens (-), and underscores (_).
    4. Enter other parameters as prompted.
    5. Click Submit.
  4. After DeC is provisioned, select desired resource pools and flexibly manage your resources.
