Creating a Function

Procedure

  1. On the top menu bar, choose Database Management. On the displayed Objects page, select Functions, select a schema, and click Create Function.
  2. In the displayed dialog box, select a function type and click OK.
  3. On the displayed page, click Set Template Parameter. In the displayed dialog box, set parameters as required and click OK.
  4. Click Save to complete the creation, or click Execute to invoke the function and view the result in the Message area.
