Changing the Mobile Number

Procedure

  1. Go to the Account Info page.
  2. Click Edit next to Mobile Number.

    The Change Mobile Number page is displayed.

  3. Verify your identity.

    • Mobile number verification
      1. Click Verify next to SMS.
      2. Click Send Code, enter the SMS verification code, and click Next.

    • Email address verification
      1. Click Verify next to Email.
      2. Click Send Code, enter the email verification code, and click Next.

      If both your mobile number and email address are unavailable, go to the Create Service Ticket page, choose User Account > User Account - Account Info Modification, and then click Create Service Ticket to submit a service ticket.

      • Upload the materials required for your account type and account role:
        • Enterprise (upload the required materials of the legal representative or the authorized person.)

          Legal representative: Copies of the enterprise certificates, photos of the image page and national emblem page of the legal representative's ID card, and a photo of the legal representative holding the ID card

          Authorized person: Copies of the enterprise certificates and an authorization letter with the company seal, photos of the image page and national emblem page of the authorized person's ID card, and a photo of the authorized person holding the ID card

        • Individual

          Photos of the image page and national emblem page of the ID card, and a photo of the individual holding the ID card (The ID card information must be consistent with that submitted for real-name authentication.)

      • After your application is approved, HUAWEI CLOUD will replace the original mobile number with the new one specified in the service ticket. You can use the new mobile number to reset the password by clicking Forgot Password? on the login page.
      • If your account has been associated with a HUAWEI CLOUD partner through advance prepayment or is in other special conditions, HUAWEI CLOUD customer service will further verify your account. Please provide the materials required by customer service.
    • HUAWEI CLOUD app verification
      1. Click Verify next to Facial Recognition.
      2. Use HUAWEI CLOUD app to scan the QR code.

        You can use facial recognition to change your mobile number only after you have completed individual real-name authentication by scanning the QR code or using a bank card or your ID card.

  4. Enter a new mobile number, click Send Code, and enter the SMS verification code.

  5. Click OK.

    The system displays a message indicating that the mobile number is changed successfully.
