Overview
Scenarios
DAS enables you to manage databases on a web-based console and supports SQL execution, advanced database management, and intelligent O&M, simplifying database management and improving working efficiency and data security. The permissions required for connecting a DB instance through DAS are enabled by default. You are advised to use DAS to connect your DB instances.
This section describes how to buy a DB instance on the management console and then connect to that instance through DAS. If you are using GaussDB(for MySQL) for the first time, see Constraints.
Process
To connect to a DB instance through DAS:
- Step 1: Buy a DB instance. Confirm the specifications, storage, network, and database account configurations of the DB instance based on service requirements.
- Step 2: Connect to a DB instance through DAS. Use DAS to connect and manage the DB instance.
