Log Tank Service (LTS) collects log data from hosts and cloud services. Through analysis and processing of massive log data, LTS maximizes the availability and performance of cloud services and applications. It provides you with a real-time, efficient, and secure log processing capability, and helps you quickly and efficiently perform real-time decision-making analysis, device O&M management, and user service trend analysis.

Log Collection and Analysis

LTS collects logs of hosts and cloud services. After logs are collected, they can be displayed on the LTS console in a simple and orderly manner, queried conveniently, and stored for a long time. The collected logs can be quickly queried by keyword or fuzzy match. This is applicable to real-time log data analysis, security diagnosis and analysis, and operation and customer service systems, such as cloud service traffic and clicks. Detailed operation data can be generated through log data analysis.

Log Monitoring and Alarm Reporting

LTS supports monitoring and alarming of log keywords. You can monitor the running status of a service in real time by monitoring the number of keywords in logs within a specified period. If the number of keywords reaches the threshold, an alarm is triggered.

Log Transfer

After being reported to LTS, the logs of hosts and cloud services are stored for 7 days by default. The storage duration can be set to a value ranging from 1 to 30 days. LTS automatically deletes logs that have been stored for a period longer than the specified retention period. For logs that need to be stored for a long time (log persistence), LTS log transfer helps transfer logs to Object Storage Service (OBS) or Data Ingestion Service (DIS) for long-term storage.

LTS provides you with 500 MB free log read/write, index, and storage space each month. If the free quota is used up, you will be charged on usage. For more information, see LTS Product Pricing Details.
