Service Pricing
Cloud Eye basic functions, such as viewing monitoring panels, creating alarm rules, and adding monitoring items, are free of charge. Cloud Eye may interconnect with other cloud services to provide you with value-added services such as monitoring data file dump and alarm notification. These value-added services may incur extra fees, which are settled by services that provide such functions.
Generally, the value-added service fee is low. Therefore, you are advised to use them as required.
The following are some value-added services:
- Dumping monitoring data files: Object Storage Service (OBS) is required. The dumped monitoring data files are saved permanently.
- Sending alarm notifications: Simple Message Notification (SMN) is required. When the status change of the cloud service triggers the threshold set in the alarm rule, Cloud Eye sends an email, text message, or HTTP/HTTPS request to notify users.
Value-added services are charged as follows:
- Object Storage Service (OBS)
OBS is charged in the pay per use mode or by month/year. You can select a charging mode based on your actual needs. OBS is charged in the pay per use mode (based on the hourly rate of storage capacity) by default. You can also purchase a monthly/yearly subscription package to obtain more preferences.
Since Cloud Eye frequently accesses the OBS bucket that dumps event files, the OBS bucket of the standard storage type must be selected and will be charged. For details, see Object Storage Service pricing details.
- Simple Message Notification (SMN)
The SMN service is charged based on the usage of text messages, emails, or HTTP/HTTPS requests. For details, see Simple Message Notification pricing details.
