Why Does My Bucket Generate Storage Fees Even Though There Are No Objects in It?
OBS storage space is billable. Objects, deleted objects, and fragments in a bucket consume storage space, which incurs storage fees. If there are no objects in the bucket, check whether there are deleted objects or fragments in the bucket.
Checking for Deleted Objects
- In the navigation pane, choose Objects.
- On the displayed page, click the Deleted Objects tab to view the deleted objects in the bucket.
To permanently delete these objects, select all deleted objects and click Delete above the list.
Checking for Fragments
To learn more about fragments, see Managing Fragments.
- In the navigation pane, choose Objects.
- On the displayed page, click the Fragments tab to view the fragments in the bucket.
To clear up fragments, select all fragments and click Delete above the list.
