Why Are Fees Still Deducted from My Account Balance After I Have Bought a Transcoding Package?

The transcoding package you bought maybe does not match your transcoding needs. MPC provides four types of transcoding packages: H.264, H.265, H.264 (low bitrate HD enabled), and H.265 (low bitrate HD enabled). Before buying a transcoding package, note:
  • A transcoding package can only be applied to media transcoding. Packaging and GIF converting are billed on a pay-per-use basis.
  • Transcoding packages cannot be used across regions. For example, if you buy a transcoding package in the CN North-Beijing1 region but you want to use it in the CN North-Beijing4 region, then your transcoding package cannot be applied to transcoding in the CN North-Beijing4 region.
  • A transcoding package cannot be used across different codecs. For example, if you buy an H.264 package or an H.264 (low bitrate HD enabled) package but the codec is set to H.265, transcoding fees can only be deducted from your account balance.
  • Transcoding packages cannot be mixed up. For example, if you buy an H.264 or H.265 package but low bitrate HD is enabled, then your transcoding package cannot be used.
