Can I Download Recordings in VOD from Somewhere Else Besides the VOD Console?

Yes, you can also obtain the download URL from the Live console and download the recordings using a download tool. If you have configured event notifications, you can find the download URL from the received message. Every time when a recording file is created, a message including the download URL will be sent to your subscription endpoint. The details are as follows:
  • Log in to the Live console. In the navigation pane, choose Streaming Management > Recordings. Click in the row containing the target recording. Copy the download URL and use a download tool to download the file.

  • Locate the download URL in the received message if you have configured event notifications.

    Live Record Notify, domain: {domain}, app_name: {app_name}, stream_name: {stream_name}, download_url: {download_url},  filename: {filename},asset_id: {asset_id}, duration: {duration}, event: {event}, timestamp: {timestamp}
