Which Recording Formats and Playback Formats Are Supported?
Live video can be recorded to OBS or VOD. The supported formats are as follows:
- Recording to OBS in the HLS, FLV, or MP4 format. If you want to play videos in other formats, authorize VOD to access the OBS bucket, and then log in to the VOD console to transcode or package the recordings into other formats.
- Recording to VOD in FLV format. You can select Transcoding Format when configuring a recording template. After the recording is created, VOD packages the recording into the HLS or MP4 format.
