Do I Need to Obtain a License for Running a Live Streaming Business? How Do I Apply?

Licenses are required for the following businesses:
  • Telecommunications business: Telecommunications Business License
  • Internet news and information services: Internet News and Information Service License
  • Online performance: Internet Culture Operating License
  • Live broadcasting of audiovisual content: License for Publication of Audio-Visual Programs through Information Network

There are four types of network licenses. You are advised to apply for a license that matches your business. As long as you are allowed to run a live streaming business, we will not review your service license.
