You are not allowed to share an encrypted image or publish it in the Marketplace directly. If you want to do this, you can replicate the image to generate an unencrypted one, and share or publish the unencrypted image in the Marketplace.
How Can I Change an Unencrypted Image to an Encrypted One?
If you want to store an unencrypted image in an encrypted way, you can select an encryption key and replicate the image to generate an encrypted image.
Constraints
- An encrypted image cannot be shared with other tenants, published in the Marketplace, or replicated across regions.
- The key used for encrypting the image cannot be changed.
