Should I Adjust the Bandwidth of a Load Balancer Based on the Bandwidth Used by Backend Servers?
- If a public network load balancer is used, the bandwidth used by its EIP is dependent on the incoming traffic and is not dependent on the bandwidth used by backend servers. When there is a surge in incoming traffic, the load balancer automatically scales up, and you may need to adjust its bandwidth.
- If a private network load balancer is used, only communication in the private network is involved, and bandwidth adjustment is not required.
