(Optional) Creating a Project

In addition to importing Flink sample projects, you can use IDEA to create a Flink project. The following describes how to create a Scala project.

Start the IDEA tool and choose Create New Project.

On the New Project page, choose Scala > Scala Module and click Next.

If you need to create a Java project, select the corresponding parameter.

On the New Project page, enter a project name and a project location, select a JDK version and a Scala SDK, and then click Finish.
