Prerequisites

Complete the following tasks before you perform operations described in this document:

  • Create a GaussDB(DWS) cluster.
  • Install an SQL client.
  • Connect the SQL client to the default database of the cluster.

For detailed instructions on the above tasks, see Data Warehouse Service Getting Started.

You should also know how to use the SQL client and have a basic understanding of the SQL language.
