What Can Be the Disk Space of the Requested Cluster Used For?

The following logs and files can be stored in the disks:

  • Log files: Elasticsearch logs
  • Data files: Elasticsearch index files
  • Other files: cluster configuration files
  • OS: 5% storage space reserved for the OS by default
