How Do I Change the Node Specifications in a CCE Cluster?

Symptom

After I purchased a node when creating a cluster, I cannot find where to modify the node specifications on the CCE console.

Solution

If the node whose specifications need to be changed is accepted into the cluster for management, remove the node from the cluster and then change the node specifications to avoid affecting services. For details about how to remove a node, see Removing a Node from a Cluster.

  1. Log in to the CCE console.
  2. In the navigation pane, choose Resource Management > Nodes. In the node list, click the name of the node whose specifications will be modified. The node details page is displayed.

  3. Click the node name in the basic node information area to access the ECS details page on the Cloud Server console.

  4. In the upper right corner of the ECS details page, click Stop. After the ECS is stopped, choose More > Modify Specifications.

  5. On the Modify ECS Specifications page, select a flavor name and click Submit to finish the specification modification. Return to ECS list page and choose More > Start to start the ECS.

  6. Log in to the CCE console. In the navigation pane, choose Resource Management > Nodes. In the same row as the target node in the list, choose More > Sync Node Data. After the synchronization is complete, you can view that the node specifications are the same as the modified specifications of the ECS.
