Can I Back Up a Server Deployed with Databases?
Yes. CBR provides application-consistent backup. For details about the function compatibility, see Table 1. For applications or databases with which the application-consistent function is incompatible, you are advised to suspend all data write operations before performing backup. If write operations cannot be suspended, you can stop the application systems or the server for offline backup. If you do not perform the preceding operations before backup, status of the server after restoration will be similar to restart upon an unexpected power failure. In this case, log rollback will be performed on databases to keep data consistent.
