Website Monitoring
Scenarios
A large amount of static data, such as product pictures and videos, leads to slow page loading and long network latency for different network users accessing the same e-commerce website. Website Monitoring can perform continuous dialing tests on websites or ECS EIPs to monitor the availability and response time of the websites.
Procedure
- Log in to the management console.
- Under Management & Deployment, select Cloud Eye.
- In the navigation pane on the left, choose Website Monitoring.
- On the Website Monitoring page, click Create Monitor in the upper right corner.
- In the displayed Create Monitor dialog box, set parameters as prompted.

Set Monitoring Frequency to 1 minute. For details about other parameters, see Parameter description.
- Click OK.
- Locate the target monitor, and click Create Alarm Rule in the Operation column.
- On the Create Alarm Rule page, follow the prompts to set the parameters. For details, see Parameter description.
A response time longer than 400 milliseconds is regarded as being long. You can configure to trigger alarms if the response time exceeds 400 milliseconds for three consecutive times.
- Click Create.
When the websites or ECS EIPs are abnormal, Cloud Eye interworks with Simple Message Notification (SMN) to notify you of the resource exception in real time.
