Subscribing to OCR

To use OCR, subscribe to it as instructed in the following procedure.

Register an account with HUAWEI CLOUD before applying for OCR.
Apply for OCR before you can use it for the first time. You only need to subscribe to OCR once.
When using OCR for the first time, you need to configure the OBS access permission once. For details, see Configuring Access Permissions of OBS.

Go to the OCR homepage and click Try Now to go to the OCR console. You need to have an account for logging in to the OCR console.
Select a region where OCR is deployed.
The default region is CN North-Beijing4. Select a region based on the deployment region of each service. The service to be enabled and called must be in the same region. For details about the deployment region of each service, see Endpoints.
On the Overview page, locate the target service and click Subscribe in the Operation column of the service.

After the service is successfully subscribed to, check that the status is Subscribed.
