OBS Object Name Restrictions

The OBS object names supported by GES can contain the following characters:

Letters and digits

0-9, a-z, A-Z

Special characters

! - _ . * ' ( )

Chinese characters

\u4e00-\u9fa5

The following characters are not supported:

Special characters

\{^}%`]">[~<#|&@:,$=+? and spaces

ASCII control characters

Range:

  • 00–1F in hexadecimal form (0–31 in decimal form)
  • 7F (127 in decimal form)
